Lisa M. Griffiths grew up in Altadena, California. A true bibliophile, her passion for books and reading started in childhood. The combination of avid reader with a fondness for the macabre and being scared naturally led her to start writing. She began writing fictional stories and poems in her teens. The stomping grounds of her former neighborhood have proved to be inspirational as well as great backstory.
She has written and published a collection of spooky bedtime stories. Creepy Shorts is intended for those who prefer to be kept awake, wondering what’s out there.
Lisa lives with her husband, three children, and faithful dog in Southern California. She is currently working on the first in a series of novels about a young teen with a time-traveling coin.

The Ride of His Life
With snow-capped mountains in his view
And the river Vindalälven so near
Comes the hunter in forest through
Striding confident and without fear.
The Fox at Nevern Square

In the spirit of Alvin Schwartz’s classic Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark, Creepy Shorts is blood-chilling good fun for young teens.
